Rotherham United’s next Championship game sees Reading the visitors to the New York Stadium.

Having lost their last four games by the odd goal and dropping back into the bottom three, the Millers will be wanting to get back to winning ways, their last home game seeing them lose one-nil to Nottingham Forest.

Reading start this game in fifth place and will be hoping to bounce back after losing their fourth game in five away to bottom placed Wycombe Wanderers in mid-week.

The Millers will be without Michael Ihiekwe who is suspended for this game while Captain Richard Wood is missing with a groin injury.

Speaking to iFOLLOW Rotherham Boss Paul Warne says that Reading are ‘very good’ athletically, saying, ‘Collectively they are probably one of the paciest teams in the league who can soak up pressure and get you on the counter-attack. I’ll be surprised if they don’t finish in the top six. I think our lads are in a good place and will be looking forward to righting the wrongs from the other night.’ The Gaffer, however, was a bit critical of the ‘lock down hairstyles he was seeing on the training ground!

A groin problem has kept Yakou Meite out of the Reading side for a couple of weeks but he might make this game, although if so, he would probably start on the bench.

Reading Manager Veljko Paunovic says that commitment has not been a problem among his team but did say that, including himself, everyone has to improve. Speaking to their Official Site the Reading Boss said, ‘My players care a lot, I see it in their eyes. I am proud of them. We are in a bad stretch right now but we will bounce back. It is not possible in the Championship to say we are going to beat this team or that team and you always have to expect your opponents will be tough.’

David Coote from Nottinghamshire is the referee for this clash.
