Rotherham United’s first game after relegation was confirmed sees them travel to the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies come into this game after losing a two goal lead at Stoke at the weekend to come away with a point. Their last game at home was also a two-all draw which saw them come back from being two-down against Watford.

A one-nil loss at home to Plymouth Argyle saw the Millers, finally, relegated on Saturday with the game before that, again at the New York Stadium, seeing them get a rare win against Millwall. Rotherham’s last away game was on Good Friday which saw the lose three-nil at Preston.

West Brom are in the play-off positions in the Championship on sixty-nine points which is forty-six more than the Millers.

Speaking to their Official Site Baggies Manager Carlos Coberan said that every game is the Championship is a challenge saying, ‘I have been watching Rotherham games where they have been playing with a line of four at the back and others where they play with a line of five. If you were to ask me which they will play with on Wednesday, I can only say that I don’t know. Will their position in the table affect the way we approach the game? Who knows but what you have to do is plan and prepare as best as possible but it’s all about adaptaion.’

Carlos Corberan will be without Daryl Dike, Jayson Molumby and Martin Kelly for the remainder of the season. Josh Maja broke an ankle but is back in training and it remains to be seen if he will be risked in this game while Cedric Kipre and Matt Phillips are doubtful.

Former Baggie Jordan Hugill will be missing for Rotherham with a knee injury with injuries to Christ Tiehi, Grant Hall and Tyler Blackett keeping them in the stands. Sean Morrison and Peter Kioso missed out in the last couple of games and are rated doubtful again for this one.

The referee for this game is County Durham’s Geoff Eltringham .
