Championship football returns to the New York Stadium this weekend after the international break when Rotherham United take on relegated Norwich City.

The Millers start the game five places above and with one point more than Saturday’s visitors having drawn their last home game against Huddersfield Town. The Canaries last away game saw them win at the John Smith’s Stadium beating Huddersfield one-nil.

The Millers will have Richie Barker in charge tomorrow with Manager Paul Warne having to self-isolate as a member of his family has tested positive for Covid. A real shame for the Gaffer as his love for his home town of Norwich is well known and I’m sure he’d have loved to be here.

Rotherham United have no new injury worries ahead of tomorrow’s game with Norwich. Definitely out is Chieo Ogbene and although Trevor Clarke and Clark Robertson have been doing well in training during the international break this game will probably have come a little early for them. I would expect to see Dan Barlaser get some time on the pitch and maybe even start but not sure if new boy Florian Jozefzoon will feature although he has had two days of training with the Millers.

Daniel Farke will be without long term injured pair Sam Byram and Kieran Dowell while Onel Hernandez has had an operation on a adductor injury and is expected to be out for some weeks. Also a doubt to be in the starting eleven is Teemu Pukki who has been on international duties with Finland.

Referee David Webb has the whistle on Saturday.
