Rotherham United welcome Watford to the New York Stadium on Saturday which sees a gap of twelve places between the sides.

The Millers come into this on the back of a Tuesday night two-one defeat at home to Hull City while Watford lost at Norwich four-two.

Watford’s last win was in mid-January which was a two-one away against Queens Park Rangers with Rotherham not having won since Boxing Day at home to Middlesbrough.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Millers Head Coach Leam Richardson is hoping his team can be ‘really energetic’ against Watford saying, ‘We think we can impose ourselves on the game, like we did in large parts on Tuesday but we need the confidence to not only go one up but go two up and take the game to the opposition.

‘Watford have some really good individual talent within their squad, not just in the starting eleven but they have been on a bit of a difficult run of late. But they are still a good team as every challenge in the Championship. We’re expecting a really tough game but it’s one we’re looking forward to.’

It looks like the hosts will still be without usual suspects Tyler Blackett, Cohen Bramall, Shane Ferguson, Andre Green and Grant Hall who are all injured. After the mid-week game there are a few with bumps and bruises with a couple who might not make it on Saturday.

Valerien Ismael the Manager of the Hornets told their Official Site that he is expecting another tough away game, saying, ‘Rotherham are fighting to survive and we know what to expect.  We have to be ready to compete and do the basics right. We have to get into situations to score a goal and we have to take our chances.

Ryan Porteous is suspended for this game with Vakoun Bayo and Jeremy Ngakia are both out injured.

The referee for this game is Andrew Kitchen from Durham.
