Rotherham United travel to the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium to take on Queens Park Rangers for this weekends game.

Rangers come into this game on the back of a one-nil win last Saturday away at Bristol City while the Millers played out a seven goal thriller in a mid-week game at Portman Road where they took the lead, went three-one down got back to three-three, with their first penalty of the campaign only to lose four-three in the dying minutes of the game.

The Hoops, whose last home game was a two-all draw with Norwich City, find themselves in the last place of the relegation candidates with thirty-two points while the Millers are thirteen points behind them in last place.

Rangers Head Coach Marti Cifuentes told their Official Site that they have to be ‘at their best’ against the Millers tomorrow. ‘It’s an all-or-nothing situation for Rotherham. They need to win games so they are a really dangerous opponent. But we know we need to get points whoever we’re playing so we have to put pressure on them from the beginning.

Rayan Kolli hasn’t played since New Years Day after suffering a foot injury and isn’t expected back until last month while Ilias Chair, who scored the winner last weekend, could be available after he launched an appeal against a Belgian courts guilty verdict for an incident that happened in 2020.

Speaking about the game, Rotherham Head Coach Leam Richardson told the Official Site that QPR have a squad of ‘really talented individuals’ saying, ‘If we can start the game as we finished on Tuesday, which was a really encouraging display, and give those performance levels that we have done of late, fingers crossed we can get a positive result. We will work terrifically hard to prepare properly and travel down and give a really strong performance and I think this will be a really good game for us.’

Ollie Rathbone went off on Tuesday night with a head injury so won’t be available for this game. The Millers will also be without Tyler Blackett, Cohen Bramall, Grant Hall and Andre Green.

Matthew Donohue from Greater Manchester has the whistle for this game.
