Rotherham United make the trek into Norfolk for this weekends game at Carrow Road against Norwich City.

City are currently sitting just outside the play-off places while the Millers are rock bottom of the Championship, still awaiting their first away win of the season.

The last seven days saw the Millers lose narrowly to neighbours Sheffield Wednesday before travelling to Coventry on Tuesday night where they lost five-nil. Norwich won their last home game, one-nil against Sunderland but lost in mid-week three-one to Middlesbrough.

Speaking to The Pink ‘Un Norwich Manager David Wagner said that this game is an important home game for the Canaries saying, ‘I’m quite sure this will be a difficult game and one where we have to be very patient. We have to make sure we are fully focussed and up to speed from the first second because we would like to extend our home run.’

Onel Hernandez who has a broken foot and Jonathan Rowe with a hamstring injury are definitely out for this one but Borja Sainz will be able to play after having his red card on Wednesday night overturned. Grant Hanley is a doubt after going off in mid-week with an ankle problem.

Speaking to the Official Site Millers Head Coach Leam Richardson said, ‘We’re going to a big stadium against a team who are playing really well so we’ve got to be one hundred and ten per cent at it. In football you’re judged in the present and, at the minute, for us, that’s not very good but we want to change that so we’ve got to make sure that we stay strong, stay together, support each other and give a really good account of ourselves.

The Millers will be without Andre Green, Grant Hall, Cohen Bramall and, probably, Sean Morrison who are all being pencilled in for a late March return. Lee Peltier and Shane Ferguson are major doubts.

The referee for this game is Surrey’s Charles Breakspear.
