Rotherham United make the long Tuesday night journey down to Watford for their second away game of the week tonight and one that they will be hoping to come home from with something in the bag.

Sitting in seventh place the Hornets are thirteen places and have fourteen points more than the Millers but come into this game on the back of a home loss to Cardiff City when former Miller Kiefer Moore scored the only goal of the game.  The Millers lost away on Saturday at Coventry with Rotherham Boss Paul Warne saying he needs to see some fight in his team tonight.

Watford centre-back Craig Cathcart is a doubt for this game as is Andre Grey who has missed the last couple with a hamstring problem.  Adam Masina is back in training but won’t make it for this one while Tom Dele-Bashiru recently had surgery and Isaac Success are both long term absentees.  But midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is available again after suspension.

Vladimir Ivic Watford’s Head Coach believes that his team are adapting to playing in the Championship and told their Official Site saying, ‘In the previous year we played most of the time sat back and tried to do something on the counter-attack but now we want to be the team who attack.’

The Millers will be without Joe Mattock who came off at half-time on Saturday with an ankle injury with the defender having to have an operation but after serving a one-match ban at the weekend Mickel Miller is back in contention. Also missing are long term injured Shaun MacDonald, Clark Robertson, Kieran Sadlier and Chieo Ogbene.

‘There is no disputing that this will be a tough game,’ Millers Boss Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield, ‘and they are strong down the right where we have an injury. We have to try and keep their key players quiet but we have to face them with a smile on our faces. I think the weekend might have given some of our lads a shake-up and maybe, tonight, will be perfect for us and we have a really good game.’

Th e Man in charge of tonight’s game is Josh Smith.
