Warne Expecting Tough Game

|

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne takes his Millers team to the Riverside this evening for what will be his one hundredth game in charge.

While the Millers are looking for their first away win of the season Middlesbrough are sitting pretty in top place after an away win at Hillsborough on Friday night.

‘Boro lost their last game at home to Nottingham Forest and Rotherham go into this game after a one-all home draw with Bolton Wanderers.

Millers Boss Paul Warne is expecting a tough game this evening and told the Official Site that he expects people to think the Millers will be the underdogs which he said there is no shame in.

The Millers could be without defender Billy Jones who left the pitch early in the game with Bolton on Saturday and winger Jon Taylor is also a major doubt. Richard Wood and Ryan Manning are slight doubts.

After watching Rotherham on Saturday ‘Boro Boss Tony Pullis told their Official Site that the Millers are ‘very, very hard working and well coached. We have to turn up.’

Tony Pullis has no new injury doubts but after missing out on Friday’s win it could be that forward Martin Braithwaite starts tonight.

Darren Bond from Lancashire is in charge of tonight’s game.

Millers fans can ‘pay on the day’ this evening at the Riverside Stadium. Tickets will be available from 6pm at the visitors’ ticket office where it is CASH only. Tickets are on sale at the New York Stadium until 11am this morning.
