Vital Rotherham’s Man Of The Month For December

Vital Rotherham United’s Man of the Month for December is midfielder Dan Barlaser.

The ‘Geordie Pirlo’ was voted Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Match in our away win at Cambridge and jointly with Mickel Miller in the game at home against Gillingham which the Millers won five-one.

Dan joined the Millers, initially on loan, from Newcastle United in July 2019 making the move permanent in October 2020.

Rotherham United played five games throughout the last month of 2021 with Dan scoring four of his five goals (so far) in December his first two coming in the win over the Gills. He scored the third goal in our three-one home win over Burton Albion plus his precise shot at Cambridge which won the game.

An FA Cup game against Stockport was the first game of the month with Josh Vickers being voted our Man of the Match in the one-nil win. Our home game against Burton saw Freddie Ladapo and Ollie Rathbone get the same number of votes while Viktor Johansson got the accolade in our away loss at Accrington Stanley.
