Set-Back For Chieo

Rotherham United are going to be without winger Chieo Ogbene for longer than thought after he’s had a set-back to his injury.

After being told last week that both he and Kieran Sadlier, were on track to get back from long injuries this news will be a blow to the player, the management and also the fans who can’t wait to see him back in action.

Chieo had to have surgery on a knee injury he received in training and although originally thought to be out for weeks while under the knife he had a cartilage repaired meaning it was going to be longer.

Millers Manager Paul Warne told the Official Site that the twenty-three year old’s knee had ‘blown up’ and he has to see the specialist but it is expected he will be out for much longer.

‘He’s pretty heartbroken at the moment,’ the Millers Boss said. ‘It’s a massive blow for the squad and for the kid and he has our full support and love.’
