Rotherham United welcome Swansea City to the New York Stadium for their next game in the Championship.

Still languishing in the bottom three of the table the Millers come into this game with confidence after two away wins and a draw this month plus taking Premier League side Everton to extra time in the FA Cup at Goodison Park.

The Swans are sitting pretty in second place having gained seven points this month as well as getting through to Round Five of the FA Cup. There last away game was in South Yorkshire against Barnsley.

Rotherham will be without Dan Barlaser who is in self-isolation but there are no fresh injury worries.

Speaking to the Official Site Millers Boss Paul Warne said he thinks Swansea have the best two strikers in the league in Andrew Ayew and Jamal Lowe saying,’ Steve Cooper is a really likeable bloke who has done really well and Conor Hourihane is an amazing addition. But we’ve competed really well against good teams at home. We have to be at our best to come away with a good result.

Our visitors will be without Kyle Naughton who is serving a suspension while Wayne Routledge and Liam Cullen are doubts. Also missing is Korey Smith who has a quad injury.

Swansea’s Head Coach Steve Cooper says his team will be ready to battle this afternoon against the Millers telling their Official Site, ‘It will be a tough game and we have to be ready for it. I have a massive respect for them and how they go about their work but we have to focus on ourselves.’

Refereeing this game is Tony Harrington from Cleveland.
