Rotherham United travel to the West Midlands to take on Coventry City tomorrow evening when the referee is Christopher Pollard from Suffolk.

The Bury St Edmunds Official had officiated both in the National League and the Premier League 2 before his appointment to the Football League for the start of this season, his first game being in League Two where he sent off Mansfield Town’s Matt Preston for a second yellow card.

Earlier this season Chris was in charge of our game at Bloomfield Road which saw second half goals from Michael Smith and Clark Robertson give the Millers a two-one victory over Blackpool, with the hosts goal coming in the final minutes of the game from an Armand Gnanduillet penalty. He booked nine players that day – Heneghan, Feeney, Scannell and Guy from Blackpool and Daniel Iversen, Matt Olosunde and Dan Barlaser plus substitutes Chieo Ogbene and Trever Clark for Rotherham.

In the twenty-two games he’s been in the middle for this season he has shown sixty-nine yellow cards and two red cards.

Running the line at St Andrews we have Oliver Bickle and Anthony Da Costa and the Fourth Official is Ravel Cheosiaua.
