Rotherham United’s last game before the International break sees them live on TV at the Riverside where they take on Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough come into this game just one place above the relegation zone on nine points but with a better goal difference than Swansea City just below them. The Millers are four points better off and start the game in ninth place.

Mid-week games for the pair had different outcomes, Rotherham getting a three-nil home win over Blackpool while ‘Boro lost at home to Cardiff City although came back from three down to score twice.

Chris Wilder Middlesbrough Manager told their Official Site that he ‘know a lot’ about the Millers (well he did play more than one hundred and fifty games for us!) saying, ‘the staff deserve an enormous amount of credit for what they’re doing as it’s not the easiest of clubs to manage with an expectation to get out of League One and stop in the Championship. Though they are doing more than staying in the Championship at the moment. They have a lot of strength and they’re going fantastically well.’

‘Boro have Zack Steffen back in training after being out for a few weeks with a knee injury and it’s thought he will go straight into the starting eleven.

Millers Manager Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield that he expects another high-octane performance from his team on Saturday saying, ‘They’ve got unbelievable quality and a great management team. Everything is in place for them to have a great season but hopefully it doesn’t all come right for them on Saturday. They lost in mid-week but they will be trying to put that wrong right against us.’

Shane Ferguson and Tom Eaves missed out on Wednesday night but have trained but a decision will be made before the game on Saturday about their fitness. Grant Hall will be sitting this one out not able to play against his parent club.

The referee for this game is Tim Robinson from West Sussex.
