Rotherham United welcome Lincoln City to the New York Stadium this evening for their next League One encounter.

Coming into this game the Millers sit in top place in the table helped by a goalless draw away at Wycombe on Saturday. Rotherham’s last home game was a rare loss against MK Dons.

The Imps got all three points away at Wimbledon at the weekend and are in sixteen place. Their last away game was a two-nil loss at Ipswich.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Millers Manager Paul Warne said that Lincoln have ramped up their form lately with improved performances saying, ‘they are playing well. They have pulled away from being pulled into the bottom four and are in mid-table and comfortable. They have very good players and have a phenomenal front three for League One. It’s going to be a really tough game and we are going to have to be at our very best to try and win it.’

There are no new injury worries for the Millers though Jamie Lindsay is a major doubt after suffering the recurrence of an arm injury in the Papa John’s Trophy game last week. The Millers will be without Freddie Ladapo.

Lincoln Manager Michael Appleton told their Official Site that the Millers have athleticism in the team saying, ‘We have got to match them to give ourselves a chance in the game.’

It isn’t thought that Michael Appleton will make wholesale changes from the team that won on Saturday but they are likely to be without loanee Brooke Norton-Cuffy who was sent-off at the weekend although there is an appeal in place. Regan Poole is a doubt with an ankle injury while Liam Bridcutt is not expected back until next month.

Andy Haines from Tyne and Wear has the whistle this evening.
