Rotherham United’s next Championship game sees them make the trip to Suffolk to take on Ipswich Town which is a rearranged game due to the hosts FA Cup exploits.

The Millers come into this game on the back of two home losses – both marginal – and lying at the bottom of the table while the Tractor Boys have had two away games both seeing them win, four-nil at Millwall and two-one at the weekend against Swansea City.

Currently sitting in fourth place in the table Ipswich last game at Portman Road was a two-all draw with West Brom while the Millers last away game was a three-nil loss against Leeds United.

Town will be trying to get their third win on the bounce this evening with Manager Kieran McKenna telling TWTD that his team love the midweek games under the floodlights, saying, ‘Rotherham are here Tuesday night and they are going to do everything in their power to make the game really, really difficult for us. We are going to have to be at our very best to break them down and counteract their threats. They’ll be fully aware of what our strengths are, we’re fully aware of what their strengths are.’

Former Millers loanee George Hirst has been out since Boxing Day with a torn muscle while Jack Taylor is going to be out for a while with a quad injury. Janoi Donacien has had surgery on his adductor area and isn’t expect to be back until the latter part of the season.

Millers loanee forward Charlie Wyke spoke to the Official Site saying that Ipswich have had a great season. ‘They’re flying high,’ the thirty-one year old said, ‘but it’s a good test for us and we’re looking forward to it. We want to win games, no matter if it’s home or away, we want to try and put it right and win as many games as we can.’

Cohen Bramall, Andre Green and Grant Hall are all being pencilled in to come back from injury next month. It was good to see Shane Ferguson get some game time on Saturday and he should travel with the squad tonight.

The referee for this game is Hampshire’s Keith Stroud.
