Rotherham United welcome Burton Albion to the New York Stadium for the next League One game.

The Millers start this game in top place and will be looking for their twentieth game without defeat on the bounce. Their last home game was on Tuesday night which ended in a five-one win after going one behind early on against Gillingham.

Burton are in tenth place in League One coming into this one after losing in mid-week away at Wycombe with their last away win ironically coming at Adams Park in the Papa John’s Trophy, their last away league win being at Fleetwood in mid-October.

Rotherham United’s Assistant Manager Richie Barker told Radio Sheffield that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink did ‘an absolutely brilliant job’ when he took over at the Pirelli Stadium saying, ‘and he’s still doing a fantastic job. It will be a difficult game for us because I think they will come and give it a right good go. I think Burton Albion will have an influence on who will get promoted this year because they will pick up points against top sides and we have to make sure that’s not us.’

Although it’s being reported that there are no new injuries for the Millers, Mickel Miller went off after ‘feeling his groin’ in the win on Tuesday night. Richard Wood is fit and able and expected to be in the playing squad and probably the starting eleven.

Burton have no new injury worries ahead of this game.

The referee on Saturday will be Sam Allison.
