The EA Sports Team of the season – so far – has been named and central-defender Michael Ihiekwe of Rotherham United has been named in it.
The team consists of twenty standout players from the Championship and League’s One and Two for this season with Ihiekwe being amongst those as well as former Millers Semi Ajay, now at West Bromwich Albion and loanees John Swift (Reading) and Marek Rodak (Fulham) also in the team.
Michael joined the Millers in the summer of 2017 from Tranmere Rovers and has made eighty-eight appearances in a Rotherham shirt, thirty-eight of them so far this season when he’s helped out with four goals – two in the FA Cup and two in the league.
