Former Players On The Radar?

Rotherham United are being linked with three former Millers.

Lewis Wing seems to be the first name on the list who was Wycombe Wanderers joint top scorer last season with nine goals. The now twenty-seven year old attacking midfielder had a loan spell with the Millers, from Middlesbrough, in 2021 scoring twice in twenty games.

Another Middlesbrough loanee Grant Hall is also being heavily linked with a return to the New York Stadium. Defender Grant joined the Millers in the summer on a season long loan playing twenty-one times with injuries taking their toll, his last game being in February.

Brentford midfielder Tariqe Fosu spent the first half of last season on loan with Stoke City and actually played against the Millers in our win at the bet365 Stadium in October. The twenty-seven year old joined the Millers in the January transfer window scoring once in nineteen appearances.

Of course, this could just be ‘paper talk’ and the fact that Rotherham are yet to sign anyone is making people look at who is available and have already had a link with the Millers.
