Wiles Commits To Stay Until 2023

Rotherham United midfielder Ben Wiles has extended his contract which will now run until 2023.

Born in the town Ben came through the Millers Youth Academy signing his first contract in June 2017. A couple of months later he had a loan spell with Frickley Athletic in the Northern Premier League.

Ben made his first team debut in the Football League Trophy games in 2017 making his league debut in the Championship away at Brentford in August the following year. and went on to make twenty-three appearances that season.

Last season he scored his first league goal in August in our home draw with Tranmere, scoring another two in forty games.

Ben told the <b><a style=’color:#CC0000′ href=’https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/ ‘ target=”blank”>Official Site</a></b> Ben said he was ‘over the moon’ with the new contract saying, ‘I love my football at Rotherham and it’s rewarding to see they’ve got faith in me and to get clarification I’m doing what they want me to do.’ He also says that he thinks he thinks playing in the Championship before will give him confidence to offer more that what he did last time.’

Good news for Ben, the club and the Millers fans.
