Who Do The Millers Face First?

|

The first game of the new season sees Rotherham United on their travels when they make the trip to take on AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, 3rd August when it will be a 3.00pm kick-off.

The teams last met on Wimbledon soil in October 2017 at the Cherry Red Record Stadium in League One. Lyle Taylor scored a hat-trick for the hosts with Joe Newell getting a consolation for the visitors.

The Millers first home game sees newly promoted Lincoln City in town.  The Imps haven’t played in the League on Rotherham soil since February 2008 although they did play against us at our temporary home of the Don Valley Stadium a few times and have played at the New York Stadium in the JP Trophy in August 2010 which was a one-nil win for the Millers thanks to a goal from Adam Le Fondre.

Boxing Day sees Rotherham travel to take on Shrewsbury with our New Year’s Day game seeing Blackpool at the New York Stadium.

The last game of the season sees the Millers entertain Sunderland.

All this, of course, is subject to change.
