Rotherham United have added to the forward line by signing Conor Washington on a two year deal – subject to EFL and FA ratification

Born in Kent he moved to Cambridgeshire as a child joining his town side St Ives Town making over eighty appearances for them, and scoring goals, between 2009 to 2012. From there he moved into the Blue Square Premier League with Newport County helping them to promotion to the Football League in his first season.

January 2014 saw Conor move to Peterborough before moving into the Championship with Queens Park Rangers two years later. He went on to play over ninety games for Rangers, including playing at the New York Stadium, before spending a year at Bramall Lane. From there he moved to Scotland with Hearts moving back to England when he got a two year deal with Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2020. Last season Conor made forty appearances for Charlton scoring eleven times including one against the Millers in our one-all draw at the Valley in November.

Conor qualified to play for Northern Ireland through a grandparent and has thirty-five international caps.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Conor to the New York Stadium.
