Vital Rotherham United’s Man of the Month for September is Jake Hastie.
Midfielder Jake joined the Millers at the beginning of September on loan from Scottish Premier League side Rangers and in his first game opened the scoring in our loss at the Keepmoat. He scored the final goal in our home win against Bolton Wanderers and ran rings round his marker at Sunderland scoring the equalising goal to give the Millers an away point.
Jake was voted our Man of the Match twice in September – against the above mentioned game at Doncaster and then in our away game at Bristol Rovers last weekend.
The Millers six-one win at home to Bolton saw Ben Wiles voted Man of the Match with goalkeeper Daniel Iversen getting the accolade for his acrobatic saves away at Sunderland. In the goalless draw at home to Shrewsbury Michael Ihiekwe got the vote.
