Jose Junior opened the scoring for the Millers, who was on loan from Derby County, on thirty-nine minutes but second half goals from Stern John and Ady Williams gave the visitors the win on the day.
The last time the Millers beat Coventry on home soil was a cold Tuesday night in December 2003. The opening goal was on the thirteenth minute from Darren Byfield with Shaun Barker adding a second five minutes before half-time. No further goals gave the Millers all three points.
