RUFC – Will Still Hoping For More Goals

|

Rotherham United’s Will Vaulks told iFOLLOW that he thought that the win last Saturday was the best result for the Millers going into the play-offs.

‘After conceding a few the week before it was good to keep a clean sheet,’ the twenty-four year old said, ‘and it was nice to get a goal. I think it was the first time I’d scored with my left leg and I was happy it went in.’

Saturday’s goal was Will’s seventh of the season, all good strikes with him joking, ‘It would have been nice to get a few tap-ins on the way! I’ve got seven but I’d like to have got nearer ten, though there’s still time.

‘I’ve played all over the place this season but I’ve really enjoyed this year which was so different to last year. Hopefully it will end even better.’

Saying he’s expecting two tight games with Scunthorpe, Will carried on, ‘Play-off games are always tense games. I think we need to start the game well on Saturday, bed ourselves in and go from there. I’m looking forward to it.

‘Even though we are a young bunch a lot of us have played in play-offs or finals so we’re not too inexperienced.

‘I’m confident we can do well.’
