Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield that striker Danny Ward needs a goal.

‘I’m always wax lyrical about Wardy but he does need a goal,’ Warney said after today’s defeat to Fulham. ‘To have a header less than six yards out against Fulham just inside the near post you would fancy him to score.

‘Then there was the one in the second half with Tayls (Jon Taylor) when Joe Newell got one-on-one and pulled it back I think he went with his wrong leg. But he makes that choice not me.

‘And there was one that fell to Wardy from about eight yards out which he caught sweet as a nut and it got blocked and then it didn’t fall to a red shirt. When they got the same chance it fell to one of their players and they had three bites of the cherry to score.’
