RUFC – Selection headache for Moore?

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has a bit of a headache before tomorrow`s game with new boys Stevenage – but it`s a headache in a good way.

The Millers manager will have to think long and hard over his team selection after various changes in the last week have shown him what all his players are capable of.

After injury, Nick Fenton came back into the side because skipper, Ryan Cresswell was on compassionate leave, and did extremely well.

In the midfield Mark Bradley was also given a chance against Bury and Burton and, as far as I could see, didn`t put a foot wrong and even did what Moore`s been asking his midfield to do, and that was score a goal.

After playing Adam Le Fondre alone up front last Saturday, he was rested for the mid-week game against Burton and Tom Pope and Tom Elliott started together – though I am one hundred per cent sure Alfie will return for the game tomorrow.

Likewise, I am as sure as I can be that Andy Warrington will be back in goal although stand-in Jamie Annerson had a superb game on Wednesday.

Jamie Green had a good game too on Wednesday and Dean Holden was back in the starting eleven, though I personally thought he looked short of match fitness and think Johnny Mullins will be back in tomorrow, with Holden dropping to the bench.

It`s a difficult one for Ronnie Moore against a team that he won`t know a lot about – who`d be a football manager, eh?!
