Rotherham United`s Welsh International midfielder, Mark Bradley wants to keep the first team shirt, after playing in both games against Bury and Burton.

Since arriving from Walsall in the summer, Bradley hasn`t had much of a chance in the first team what with calls up for Wales and a couple of niggly injuries. But he finally got his first start last weekend in the draw against Bury at Gigg Lane.

‘That`s what I came to Rotherham for,` the twenty-two year old told The Advertiser, ‘to start games, not be sat on the bench.

‘I was pleased to get a start against Bury though I was disappointed to be brought off. It was a difficult game and we had to work hard to close their centre midfielders down. I thought we did well in the second half and stopped them playing.

‘Hopefully I can get on the ball a bit more now and show what I can do.`

Manager Ronnie Moore said, ‘I needed to look at Mark and see what he can do because I haven`t really had the chance. He came in and did well and hopefully will keep that up.`

Bradley scored a fantastic goal on Wednesday night against Burton which helped put the Millers through to the next round.
