Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans is disappointed to lose defender Farrend Rawson.
The eighteen year old has been re-called by his parent club Derby County with the Millers Boss saying, ‘I thought we had Farrend until the end of the season so I am disappointed.
‘He was the best defender we had at the football club but I don`t think there`s a chance he`ll be back.
‘But I do hope to work with the young man in the future.`
Farrend appeared in four games for the Millers since joining at the beginning of March and was fast becoming a fans favourite. A product of the Derby Academy he was given his first professional contract in the summer of 2014 but hadn’t made a first team appearance before joining Rotherham.
All at Vital Rotherham wish Farrend well in his career and I think we`d all love to see you in a Millers shirt again
