Rotherham United midfielder, Mark Bradley, says that all the players are in good spirits and he hopes that a change of management might give him a chance in the first team.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, the former Walsall player said, ‘Training has been brighter and everyone is in good spirits.

‘Lids and Warney have been with me in the reserves for the last couple of months and they’ve seen what I’ve been like so hopefully I’ll now get a chance of getting in the team. Every time I’ve played for the reserves I’ve given my all and I think I’ve been unfortunate not to get back in the first team.’

Asked for his thoughts over the last week, the twenty-three year old said, ‘These things happen at football clubs. Last Friday wasn’t the best game of football we’ve played but we have to just move on now to the next game and get a good result.

‘I think Lincoln will be well organised but we’ve got to go there and play our own game because it’s all about us tomorrow.

Talking about the promotion race, Mark said, ‘I’ve looked at the leagues and it’s tight but we are only five points off third. We need to win tonight and Tuesday and we can be right back in it. Automatic promotion is definitely gettable and if all the lads pull together for the next nine games and push hard then we can go it.’

I know Mark Bradley’s name has been bandied about a bit between the fans on the terraces of late – wondering why he hasn’t had a chance when he’s been doing well in the Reserves. So, if he get’s that chance tonight let’s hope he can take it and show us what he’s made of.
