Rotherham United defender, Nick Fenton says that everyone is in a positive frame of mind ahead of the Lincoln game tonight.

Speaking to MillersPlayer after training yesterday, the thirty-one year old said, ‘It was a bad result last Friday but we’ve picked ourselves up and Lids has got everyone nice and positive this week, working hard and all looking forward to tomorrow night.

‘Lids, Warney and Dibs have worked hard all year and they have got the backing of all the players. Hopefully it will all work well for these three, they’ll get the job and we’ll get promoted. I think the lads will be really pleased if they got the job at the end of the season.

‘They both talk and are both honest. Where Ronnie (Moore) and Jimmy (Mullen) were a lot older, these are both younger and bring that enthusiasm to the club. They’re going to have a different approach and, although they’ve been coaching us all year, they’ve been doing what Ronnie and Jimmy told them to do. They’re going to put their own stamp on the team now and we’ll find out in the next few weeks what that will be. Nicky Eaden has come in and he’s been working on the defensive shape this morning and he seems good.’

Nick has been out with a thigh strain and he was asked about his fitness. ‘I’ve come through today fine so hopefully I’ll be alright for tomorrow night. Andy Liddell and Paul Warne haven’t announced the team for tomorrow yet but whichever eleven go out there tomorrow night have got to put in a big shift. We need three points tomorrow night to get back on track.’
