Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre is a big doubt for Saturday after turning an ankle at the end of training today.

Caretaker Manager, Steve Thornber told MillersWorld that they put ice on it as soon as it happened but he was struggling to walk. ‘It’s a massive blow,’ Thornber said, ‘but hopefully he will be a bit better tomorrow, though his chances for Saturday are not looking good. We’ve put a strapping on it and he’s keeping it elevated. We’ve got a couple of days before the Cheltenham game and we will know more tomorrow but it might be that we have to leave it until Saturday morning.

‘Both Ian Sharps and Nicky Law have trained today and Sharps came through it OK. Nicky complained about pain in his toe at the end of training and he might be another we have to wait on until Saturday morning.

‘It’s not ideal all these injuries because you get a side sorted in your head but you can only play what you have in front of you and get on with it.

‘Tom Pope played sixty minutes in the Reserve game and was looking good in training so we have him to come in if Adam doesn’t make it.’
