Rotherham United are being linked with midfielder George Byers.
The twenty-seven year old has spent the second part of the season on loan from Sheffield Wednesday with Blackpool after making twenty-two appearances for the Owls.
Byers has previously played for Watford, after coming through their youth system and Swansea City where he had a loan spell with Portsmouth.
It seems that fellow relegated side Huddersfield Town along with our South Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley are also keeping tabs on George.
The Millers will definitely be on the look out for a midfielder – or two – after the clear out at the end of the season. Is Byers the right one? After playing the first half of the season with the Owls what was the thinking behind his loan spell – did he ask to go or was he sent? Questions we need to ask I think.
