RIP Tony Brien

|

Here at Vital Rotherham we are sad to hear the news that former Miller Tony Brien has passed away.

The Dublin born defender spent his first season as a professional with Leicester City before he joined Chesterfield where he made over two hundred appearances, Tony arrived at Millmoor in October 1993 and played in around fifty games scoring twice and July 1995 saw him move to the Midlands with West Bromwich Albion and while there had loan spells with Mansfield Town and Chester City. His last league football came with Hull City before he went to play with non-league side Staleybridge Celtic in 1998.

All at Vital Rotherham send condolences to Tony’s family and friends at this sad time.
