Rotherham United travel to Devon for the next game in the Championship where they take Plymouth Argyle on at Home Park.

Despite going down to ten men after just twenty-five minutes Argyle held on to get an away point at Loftus Road in mid-week while the Millers were at home against West Bromwich Albion, the visitors winning the game two-nil.

Rock bottom Rotherham are yet to win away from home their last game away from the New York Stadium although they did pick up a point in their last away game at Birmingham. The Pilgrims are four unbeaten at home their last game there being at the beginning of the month which saw them come back from one down against Stoke City to win two-one.

Argyle will be without Dan Scarr who was red carded against Queens Park Rangers.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of travelling down South Rotherham’s new Head Coach Leam Richardson said he is still getting to know people around the stadium and training ground and vice versa. Going on to talk about Saturday’s opposition, Leam said, ‘Plymouth are a good football club who have recruited very well. They have young, athletic, energetic players. We expect a really healthy challenge which is something we can go down and meet and fingers crossed we can give a good account of ourselves and get a positive result.’

The Millers will have Daniel Ayala back in contention after serving a one match ban on Tuesday night. There are a couple of players with bumps and bruises who will be assessed before the game but there are no new ‘big’ injuries. ‘Everybody knows we’ve been blighted with injuries and we couldn’t fill the bench on Tuesday night and in the Championship that’s unforgiving,’ the Head Coach said.
