Rotherham United welcome MK Dons to the New York Stadium on Saturday which sees top of League One taking on third in the table.

This looks an exciting tie on paper with the Millers coming into the game on the back of a ten league unbeaten run while the Dons are unbeaten in eight games. They are also the teams who have conceded the least goals in the last ten game with Rotherham scoring sixty-one goals so far this season and MK Dons fifty-seven.

A goalless draw at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night was the last game for Rotherham with their last game at home saw them beat Morecambe two-nil.

MK Dons last played on Saturday which saw them beat Bolton two-nil at home with the last away game saw them win at Charlton with the same score line.

After becoming a father and missing the Tuesday night game at Shrewsbury Dan Barlaser will be back in the team – and congratulations from all at Vital Rotherham on the birth of his son. Mickel Miller and Rarmani Edmunds-Green are still sidelined but hopefully the illness that has been running through the camp will have disappeared for the weekend although there is one ‘main player’ who might struggle to play, but he wasn’t named.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Millers Boss Paul Warne said he was pleased with the way his team played in the game at Stadium:MK earlier in the season saying, ‘but even though we won three-nil they (MK Dons) caused us some problems. We know this is a big game because of where they are in the table but it’s not season defining although we do know we can’t take our foot off the gas. They are a very well coached team who if we show them too much respect they will pass us our insides back on a plate. Obviously you want to win the teams around you because it means taking points off them. We all know the importance of this game and we have to be our very best to compete with them.’

MK Dons will have Daniel Harvie back after suspension but Theo Corbeanu is a doubt and they will be without long term injured defender Aden Baldwin.

Dons Manager Liam Manning told their Official Site that he thinks Rotherham are well organised saying, ‘They’ve got some dangerous attacking players which can cause real problems and I thnk Paul Warne has done an amazing job. We are looking sharp and I’m looking forward to tomorrow and I can’t wait to see how we perform.’

Marc Edwards has the whistle for this game.
