Rotherham United make the long trek to Plough Lane to take on AFC Wimbledon this evening.

Wimbledon are without a win in eleven games although they have drawn four out of their last five home games. Of the Millers three away league games since the turn of the year they have won two and lost one.

The hosts, who had a narrow loss away at Charlton on Saturday, sit just above the relegation places while Rotherham are top of League One winning their home game one-nil against Accrington at the weekend.

Speaking to their Official Site Wimbledon skipper Ben Heneghan said that they are ‘up against it’ and that he wants to ‘keep clean sheets’ saying, ‘We need to have that fight and belief, so that we take it to teams. Hopefully we’ll start doing that on Tuesday.’

Goalkeeper Nathan Broome could make his debut for Wimbledon after signing on the last day of the January transfer window from Stoke City.

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield that his team have a ‘really tough’ month ahead of them and it won’t be an easy game against Wimbledon.

The Millers will be missing skipper Richard Wood after his red card on Saturday and although Michael Ihiekwe went off with an injury at the weekend it’s hoped he will be fit. If not Joe Mattock, Wes Harding, Hakeem Odoffin and/or Tolaji Bola are in line to fill the gap. Also missing is Rarmani Edmonds-Green who is injured and expected to be out for another ten or so days. Some good news is that Angus MacDonald could be involved in the travelling squad today.

This evenings Referee is Charles Breakspear from Surrey.
