Rotherham United make the journey down to Norfolk to take on Norwich City at Carrow Road for this Easter Monday clash.

Coming into this game Norwich find themselves just one place out of the play-off places while the Millers are ten places and sixteen points worse off.

Good Friday saw City come away from Blackburn with all three points after a two-nil win while they lost their last game at home to Sheffield United by a goal to nil.

The Millers come into this game on the back of a three-one home win against West Bromwich Albion on Good Friday Rotherham’s last away game was a goalless draw against Hull City.

Speaking to the Pink Un Norwich Manager David Wagner that he wasn’t looking at the table but at the opponents saying, ‘We respect them (Rotherham) but we have to make sure we stick to our idea and play to our strength.’ He also had this to say about former City striker Jordan Hugill, ‘I’m happy that he got the right move and it looks like he’s settled in well but we will try to keep him quiet. After Monday he can score goal after goal for them and I have no problem with this.’

City will be without Kenny McLean who looks like being out for the rest of the season while Grant Hanley must be a doubt after being stretchered off at Blackburn. Ben Gibson is also suffering with an hamstring problem so could also miss out.

Millers Boss Matty Taylor spoke to the Official Site after Good Friday’s win saying, ‘we’ve got a free hit on Monday at Norwich where nobody, but ourselves, will expect anything from us. We go there with a bit of confidence on the back of (the result) at Hull as well.’

It isn’t looking good for Bailey Wright who went down early in the game on Friday and had to be helped from the pitch saying he’d heard a ‘crack’ when he went down. Shane Ferguson will be checked but should be OK and while Jamie Lindsay went off with cramp he should be fine to travel. Tariqe Quina will be back in the travelling squad after serving a one match ban.

The referee for this game is Lancashire’s Jeremy Simpson.
