Rotherham United make the short trip to West Yorkshire to take on Leeds United at Elland Road this afternoon.

Unlike last time they met in Leeds I doubt it will be sombrero’s and flip flops with the fans probably needing woolly hats, scarves and gloves and unlike last time both teams will have something to play for. The Millers are rock bottom of the Championship with just nine points while Leeds are nine places above with ten points more.

The Millers are still awaiting a first win under Neil Redfearn with the last win coming under now Leeds Manager Steve Evans against Brentford which was also their last away win. Under Evans Leeds have won their last two games with the last home game being the win over Cardiff.

Although Charlie Taylor has been back in light training after a bout of glandular fever it is doubtful he will be ready to take any part in today’s game. Liam Cooper is likely to be fit but Steve Evans could stick with Sol Bamba after having just had two clean sheets with him in the side.

Millers loanee last season will be in charge of helping to keep out the Millers strikers.

He wasn’t actually much thought of by the Leeds faithful when he joined the Millers but he’s not missed many games since returning to Elland Road!

New boy Leon Best is in line to make his debut with a place in the starting eleven. Long-term injured skipper Lee Frecklington could also be fit enough to get a place in the visiting squad.
