Rotherham United’s game against Gillingham on Saturday has been picked for live coverage with Sky Sports.
The game which is at the Priestfield Stadium has a kick-off off 1230 in a game where both teams will be after the points.
It could be that the Millers need to win to take an automatic place – win and Wigan lose Rotherham will be champions. Win, Wigan win but MK Dons, who are currently in third place, lose at Plymouth – where Plymouth will also be after a win to make sure of a play-off spot – then Rotherham are promoted as runners-up as it will be if they draw and MK Dons don’t win. Lose and MK Dons lose or draw we will still be runners-up. If the Dons win and we don’t get any points then the Millers will be in the play-offs.
It’s a bit like take a number, double it, add three, think of the first number you thought off . . . . but isn’t this just why we love football? Although, it would be better if we were watching from a safe place!
