The EFL have issued a statement regarding Rotherham United’s abandoned game with Cardiff City last month at the New York Stadium.
The statement says that the game will be re-scheduled and re-start.
Both clubs were allowed to send in submissions which the EFL took into consideration and stated ‘In considering matters such as these, the League seeks to adopt consistency with previous occurrences where fixtures have been abandoned for weather-related reasons and could not be re-started.’
The game will now be played on Tuesday, 25th April with a 7.45pm kick-off.
