The first game of 2012 sees a South v West Yorkshire derby as Rotherham United take on Bradford City at Don Valley.

The Millers go into this game in eleventh place and on the back of a loss at Cheltenham while the Bantams have won their last three games and have moved up to eighteenth in the table

Vital Quotes:

Andy Scott – Bradford are in a decent run of form and have changed the way they play and changed their personnel around. They make life difficult for other teams but we know that and are confident. Every game is important now and we can`t lose any more but we are confident with the squad we`ve got and the additions we want to make and I don`t think there`s a reason why we can`t be where Cheltenham are.

Phil Parkinson – The lads are in a good place and this is another game we`re really looking forward to. We are going there with a strong team

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers go into this game with Andy Warrington taking over in goal from Conrad Logan whose loan spell ended at the weekend. Andy Scott will be without Marcus Marshall, Ryan Cresswell and Mark Bradley and will assess loanee Jon Harley, who was forced off on Friday night feeling ill.

Player to watch: Lewis Grabban

Gets into some good areas and not scoring since the beginning of December, in the FA Cup game against Shrewsbury, he will want to start seeing the back of the net again

Bradford City Team News:

The Bantams are set to appeal against David Syres red card against Shrewsbury and so he will be in contention for this game and Ricky Ravenhill will be available again after serving a one match suspension. Charlie Taylor has signed from Leeds on a months` loan and, if he gets clearance in time, is likely to play some part in the game. Liam Moore`s loan period has ended and has returned to Leicester City but Michael Flynn could be in the squad after missing the last couple of games with gastro-enteritis. Robbie Threlfall could also come into consideration after coming off the subs bench on Saturday.

Player to watch: James Hanson

A giant of a centre-forward who is good in the air and will hassle defenders. City`s top scorer so far this season

Ref Watch:

Robert Madley from West Yorkshire

Next Fixtures:

The Millers have a rest next weekend due to FA Cup games and the next game will be at Don Valley on January 14th against Swindon Town which is a 3.00pm kick-off
