Millers To Lose Lindsay?

Rumours emerging today are suggesting that Rotherham United midfielder Jamie Lindsay is on his way out of the club.

Jamie joined the Millers in July 2019 and has made one hundred and fifty-two appearances in Championship, League One and all cup games – thirteen of those coming this season.

June 2022 saw Jamie sign a new deal at the New York Stadium which takes him up to June this year meaning he is out of contract in the summer.

Over the last few seasons there have been rumours that various clubs have been ‘interested’ in Scottish born Jamie one being Portsmouth. But today it seems that Wrexham are making a move for the twenty-eight year old.

Of course, these are just rumours and we know that rumours often stop right here – plus, we have to remember, that with one day to go there are no new faces arrived in the January Transfer window and Jamie Lindsay is very much a valued member of the first team and we really would need a replacement for him.

We will just have to keep an eye on this one I think.

I suppose we’ve got to ask ourselves should we let him go and get something for him now or hold on until he goes for nothing in the summer.
