Rotherham United have added to their defence by bringing in Brooke Norton-Cuffy from Arsenal – subject to ratification from the EFL, FA and Premier League.
The eighteen year old right-back was at Chelsea as a young boy before moving to the Emirates at the age of twelve. Brooke played for the Gunners U21 side in the Papa John’s Trophy away at Wimbledon in December 2020 and signed his first professional contract with Arsenal the following month.
He went on to play in three more Football League Trophy games last year for the U21 before going out on loan to Lincoln City for the rest of the season. He made seventeen appearances for the Imps his first senior goal coming in their three-one home win over Sheffield Wednesday. He also played at the New York Stadium during that loan spell in the same team as Cohen Bramall.
Brooke has caps for England at U16, U18 and U19 levels.
