|

Rotherham United are thought to be interested in former Bury left-back Greg Leigh.

Greg came though the Academy at Manchester City going on loan to Crewe Alexandra in August 2014 where he went on to make over forty appearances. Although the Alex tried to sign him on a permanent deal a successful trial at Valley Parade saw him join Bradford City in the summer of 2015. Struggling to get in the Bantams first team, Greg signed for Bury in July 2016 and went on to play over eighty games for them and although he was offered a new deal at the end of his contract he moved to Dutch side NAC Breda in June 2018. After the side were relegated from the top division in Netherlands football the now twenty-five year old went out on loan to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen where he made twenty-three appearances including League, Cup and Europa League scoring three goals.

Leigh was reported to be one of NAC’s big earners as well as being a fans’ favourite.

Does he suit what the Millers are looking for?
