Rotherham United saw six players released at the end of last season, one of those being defender Angus MacDonald.

Angus joined the Millers from Hull City in 2020 playing in forty Championship games that first season, his only goal coming against Middlesbrough in the April. Injury and illness very much scuppered last season for the now twenty-nine year old making just eight appearances, four of those off the bench, his last one seeing him get a red card in March at the New York Stadium against Shrewsbury on just thirty-eight minutes.

While it may have taken a while Angus has now signed a deal with League Two side Swindon Town which keeps him at the County Ground for two years.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Angus well in his future career.
