Is He Isn’t He?

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told iFOLLOW that although the transfer window is due to close on Monday it is only for international transfers and the domestic window doesn’t close until 16th October.

Saying that the Gaffer also says that he is ‘close to doing some business’.

Well, like a lot of Millers fans I’m sure, we have been waiting all day for the club to announce that they have signed Dan Barlaser from Newcastle, especially as the Magpies Manager Steve Bruce told us that the midfielders arrival in Rotherham was ‘imminent’ yesterday.

So far, as I write this at 7.15pm we haven’t had any conformation that the loanee from last season has signed. We’ve had sightings on Social Media and we’ve had local newspaper reports saying he is here but nothing official from the club.

The Gaffer actually said in his interview today that he had ‘had enough of answering questions about Dan Barlaser’.

To be honest we are fed up with answering those questions.

Everywhere it says we’ve got him CinL but he just doesn’t seem to have materialised. Of course, there might be the factor of the lockdown in the North East that could be contributing to him not being ‘here’ yet?
