Brazilian For Millers?

|

Rotherham United are being linked with defender Ricardo Ferreira da Silva Kubitski known as Ricardinho.

The Brazilian, who is also being linked with Birmingham City, has spent five seasons playing in Sweden with Malmo before moving to Azerbaijani with Gabala. In August 2017 he made a surprise move to England and Oxford, where he was voted their Players’ Player of the Year at the end of last season.

He made thirty-nine appearances for the U’s last season, including twice against Rotherham, the game at the Kassam Stadium playing the full game and coming off the bench at the New York Stadium in February. The Brazilian scored three times for Oxford.

His youth career was spent in his home country Brazil with Coritiba who he went on to make over one hundred and fifty first team appearances for.

I think the Millers are being linked with every player going at the moment. As far as I’m aware Ricardinho has an option of a further year with Oxford, although he could, of course, have turned that down  hoping for a chance in a league above.
