Rotherham United have delved into the transfer window and brought in Hakeeb Adelakun on loan from Bristol City until the end of the season subject to EFL and FA ratification.

The twenty-three year old winger who made just a handful of appearances for the Robins since he joined them in the summer of 2018 mostly due to an ankle injury and hasn’t played one game so far this season.

Born in Hackney, Hakeeb spent his youth career with both Crystal Palace and West Ham United before signing for Scunthorpe United in 2012. He helped the Iron get promoted back to League One in the 2013/14 season his first goal coming in November of that season while he played in both the League One Play-Off games against the Millers in May 2018.

It seems that the Millers have beaten off both League One sides Doncaster Rovers and Sunderland to secure the loan signing of Adelakun.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Hakeeb to the New York Stadium.
