Rotherham United have had a short month in January with just four games – one of those in the FA Cup.
But who got Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Match for the first month of 2024?
Well it was a bit of a landslide with captain Sean Morrison getting the accolade for three of the four games.
Born in Plymouth the centre-back joined the Millers from Cardiff City just over a year ago originally until the end of last season signing a new deal in the summer which takes him until the end of this season. Injuries kept his appearances down to two last season but he fought back and has played in twenty-two games so far this season scoring twice.
Sean was voted our Man of the Match in our New Years Day draw away at Blackburn Rovers where he got the first equaliser, in our FA Cup game away against Premier League side Fulham and our final game of the month which was a one-all draw at the Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough.
Our only home game this month saw Stoke City the visitors to the New York Stadium where Hakeem Odoffin was voted our Man of the Match.
