Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Month for March is, for the second month running, Goalkeeper Josh Vickers.
Josh has proved to be invaluable for the last couple of months for the Millers and has kept two clean sheets in his five appearances throughout March. He was voted Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Match in our goalless draw at Shrewsbury and against the Shrews in our last game of the month this time at the New York Stadium. We lost three-nil in that game but it could have been a lot worse had it not been for our shot-stopper.
Mickel Miller was also voted our Man of the Match twice, in our Papa John’s Trophy game away at Hartlepool which saw us win on penalties to take us to the Final and also in our home win over Lincoln City. So then it went to the number of votes both him and Vickers got with Josh getting eighteen to Mickel’s eleven over the month.
Our home loss to MK Dons saw Michael Smith and Ollie Rathbone voted joint Men of the Match with Wes Harding getting the accolade in our away draw at Wycombe.
